Moroccan Pouffes

Crafted by skilled artisans, each moroccan pouffs is handmade, using leather found in the local tanneries in Marrakesh. They are dyed, cut and stitched in a studio sound deep in the Medina.

Rugs

All our rugs reflect the cultural and ecological diversity of Morocco. Each unique piece is a beautiful expression of craftsmanship and tradition, telling stories through patterns or through the use of symbolism based on cultural or religious beliefs.

Handmade Berber Rugs are crafted by using centuries old techniques on looms.

These highly skilled tribal women knot or weave the 100 per cent natural fibre of the sheep’s wool.

There are numerous different Berber tribes who make these rugs using techniques, patterns, symbols and motifs unique to each tribe. Each piece being a work of art, and with its very own story. An honour to have within your home.

It is important to note that usually only one side has tassels, these are made when the warp threads are cut on traditional looms after weaving. A feature only found in authentic rugs.

The abstract patterns and symbols made with the brightly coloured wool is dyed using natural vegetable dyes from the artisans region.
